Tennessee Chapter History

The Pilots for Christ Tennessee Chapter was formed in September of 2011 by Mike McMillen and his wife Susan.  They solicited the ten members necessary to form the chapter and began to fly missions for the state out of the Gatlinburg –Sevierville airport (KGKT). The chapter has grown and now has 16 members in good standing with 26 members on the rolls.  Members are from two of the three areas of the state, East and Middle. We are searching for members to join from the West.  There are at least 5 aircraft available for missions. We perform all the mission types listed under the Missions of Pilots for Christ International. The current headquarters for the Tennessee Chapter is in Oak Ridge, TN.

Chapters are recognized by the International Headquarters to function in specific geographical locations. The Tennessee Chapter self-monitors and self-governs so that flight standards equal or exceed FAA requirements under FAR §61.113. Members are obliged to conform to the organization’s principles. PFCTN is registered in the State of Tennessee as a 501(c)3 organization. Pilots for Christ Tennessee Chapter is a volunteer pilot organization providing service to the areas listed and depicted on the map below:
